Proven Leadership For Ward 21

It has been a busy month since officially launching my campaign to become your next Councillor in Toronto Ward 21.  Since launching I’ve met so many people in our neighbourhood that are telling me they want my style of strong, progressive, proven leadership to represent them at City Hall.

Many people are also telling me they’re concerned the new Ford provincial government is going to cut their services.  Because of this, our city needs experienced leadership to ensure services like libraries and community centres continue to operate.  I’ll fight to make sure the city is still able to provide these services and find ways to budget for them.

Over 100 people showed up to the campaign launch on May 29th and we had over 50 show up to the first “Coffee With Kavanagh” event on June 26th.  If you were able to attend, thank you.  If you couldn’t make it, there are photos below.

My team and I will be hosting a number of events across Ward 21 between now and Election Day on October 22nd and would love to see you at one. If you want to host an event, click here to email the team and set one up.

Campaign Launch
May 29

On May 1st I became the first candidate in Ward 21 to declare. On May 29th, over 100 residents, friends and business owners from the neighbourhood came out to Mangia & Bevi and celebrated with me.  Along with that, we had so many incredible conversations about what our neighbourhood is doing well, what it needs and how we can build a great plan to get there.

Coffee With Kavanagh
June 26

During the month of June I’ve been out to dozens of events in our neighbourhood of Ward 21.  In that time I’ve been able to meet with thousands of the people that live here, own businesses, and commute through the area.  It has been great to connect with so many in the Ward.  On June 26th I invited you all to the first ‘Coffee With Kavanagh’ and we packed Odin Cafe at King and River!  Here are some of the photos and ideas that came out of the event.
